Crowd-Sourced City was commissioned for the Whitney Museum's Block Party on May 2, 2015. Block Party participants were invited to contribute to a scale model of New York City. Hundreds of visitors created small sculptures of places that were personally important to them and installed them on a table-sized map. The project collectively imagines a city that is produced by the local and the personal. The time-lapse video documents the construction of the crowd-sourced city.
